Once the home of Crossley Carpets – the largest carpet manufacturer in the world – Dean Clough is now a thriving destination where heritage, arts, business and leisure come together. Stretching half a mile and covering 22 acres, this remarkable collection of Victorian mills has been transformed into one of Yorkshire’s most exciting cultural and creative hubs.

The arts sit at the heart of Dean Clough. Visitors can explore 6 contemporary galleries with a changing programme of exhibitions and discover more than 300 works from the permanent art collection displayed throughout corridors and courtyards. Dean Clough is also home to Fletchers Mill, a dedicated arts building housing over 20 artist studios and creative organisations, reinforcing its reputation as a centre for the arts.

History enthusiasts can uncover the story of Dean Clough and the Crossley empire through the free Heritage Trail, while the Art Trail highlights the permanent collection across the site. Families can enjoy the Art & Discovery Trail, designed to spark curiosity and imagination in younger visitors. The Lost Workers exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the lives of former mill employees, while the spectacular Dean Clough LEGO Model, built from more than 1 million bricks, is another highlight not to be missed.

Dean Clough also hosts a lively year-round programme of events including artisan markets on the fourth Sunday of every month, live concerts, heritage tours, film screenings and more.
