Elmslie House, nestled in the heart of Great Malvern, is an elegant Grade II listed family home with a difference.

As well as being home to Anna Taylor and her family, the house is a much-admired venue, with the Hall and lower ground floor playing host to a wealth of events, classes and workshops, as well as a hugely popular biannual contemporary craft fair.

Supporting artists, makers and local businesses is at the heart of what we do here at Elmslie House. We love having a diverse spectrum of activities going on at the house and welcome everyone from big groups to those involved in local charitable enterprises and community events to come and use our venue spaces.

Art Exhibitions

Art is an integral part of Elmslie House. Not only is Anna (Elmslie’s owner) an avid supporter of artists and makers, the house has also seen its share of artistic visitors over the years.

From Dame Laura Knight (when she painted the portrait of Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw in what is now the Hall at the house), to renowned local artists, the house has always opened its doors to artists and creatives – whether they are exhibiting their own work, those of artists they admire, or to people wanting to hold and attend creative workshops and classes.

Classes

Yoga, Pilates, Dance and Singing Classes all take place on a weekly basis during term time at Elmslie House.
