Set in the heart of Suffolk’s beautiful medieval wool town of Lavenham, the stunning 15^th century Swan Hotel and Spa is steeped in centuries of history.

With its half-timbered picture perfect exterior, luxurious surroundings, oak beamed interiors, open fires and cosy nooks, the hotel brings together a deep sense of history with a mix of classic and contemporary styling.

Each of the 45-bedrooms and suites has been individually styled. Guests can also book the Priory Suite, which sleeps four, or the three-bedroom Dairy cottage for six, both are a short stroll from the main hotel in Lavenham’s former Grade 1 listed 13^th century priory. Guests have full use of The Swan’s facilities but can self-cater if preferred.

The Swan at Lavenham is also home to Weavers’ House Spa, a retreat for the senses focusing on total relaxation, enjoyment and wellbeing.

Guests can choose to dine in either the beamed and vaulted fine dining Gallery restaurant or the relaxed Mess Call 487 Brasserie.  In warmer times you can also enjoy lunch, tea or cocktails in the sheltered gardens and hidden courtyard.

The Airmen’s Bar is full of Second World War memorabilia from the United States Army Airforce who were stationed nearby, making it an inspiring setting to sit in front of the open fire after a day out on cooler days.

For a private party book one of the elegant private dining rooms such as the McCallum, this features a vast open fireplace and vaulted beamed ceiling.

Dogs are welcome to stay with their owners in selected rooms (extra). They can also join their owners in the lounge and Airmen’s Bar.

Weavers’ House Spa

The boutique spa combines bespoke service and tranquillity into a specially curated treatment collection.  Whether it’s a pampering day of relaxation, a little TLC with a bespoke facial or something special, Weavers’ House Spa offers a range of treatments. These include body massage, facials, manicures, pedicures, pregnancy packages and more featuring the Tribe517 and Temple Spa ranges of professional products.

Facilities comprise six treatment rooms including a double room for couples or two friends to share, two relaxation suites, a steam room, hot stone sauna and an outdoor vitality pool heated to around 38 degrees Celsius, plus a retail boutique.
