Westermill Farm is a traditional 500 acre working hill farm in the heart of Exmoor with a camping site, self catering cottages and farm shop.
Exmoor is situated on the north coast of the South West of England in the counties of west somerset and north devon. The Edwards family will welcome you on arrival to the farm. All visitors will have the whole farm to explore and to enjoy the amazing Exmoor ladscape.
Camping Site
Beautiful, secluded valley site in the Centre of Exmoor National Park. Camp in mown meadows beside the River Exe. Bathe or Fish (not coarse fishing) in the 2 miles of the river Exe. Seasonal Small Shop. We have bread, milk, eggs, bacon etc. sourced locally.
The campsite consists of 15 acres divided into 4 fields, All the fields are in the valley and follow the river, The 1st field is fenced off from the river. All the others are open to the river. About 1/2 a mile of river frontage.
This is a secluded valley site in the centre of Exmoor National Park. Most of our visitors who come here, come for the peace and quiet, they like to relax and unwind. If you can hear your own radio that’s fine, but if your neighbour can hear it it’s not! The same at night. Most people like to retire to bed before 11pm so we run a quiet site at night.
Camp in mown meadows beside the River Exe. There is a seasonal small shop, We have bread, milk, eggs, bacon etc. sourced locally, Conception to Consumption. Try some of our home grown FREE RANGE meat, Beef, Lamb and Pork, ‘Lamb/Mint’, ‘Pork/Apple’ Burgers, Sausages, Bacon and Award winning FREE RANGE Aberdeen Angus Beef.
We allow BBQ’s as long as they are placed off the ground. so they don’t burn the grass.
Cottages
Six delightful Scandinavian style cottages nestle in grass paddocks on the side of a valley in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. All on a working 500 acre hill farm.
Cottages Sleep from 1 – 8 persons depending on which you are interested in. They are ETC graded 3 to 4 Star. (except Holly)
There is a laundry room, payphone, seasonal shop and information centre all on site. Four waymarked leaflet guided walks traverse the farm. Dogs, Children and Horses are welcome.
