Ludlow Food Festival returns to Ludlow Castle on 11, 12 and 13 September 2026 for a spectacular celebration of the Marches’ finest food and drink. Set within the historic castle walls, this much-loved event offers a true taste of the Marches region at a food and drink festival like no other.

Now in its 32nd year, and proudly recognised as the UK’s first food festival, Ludlow continues to champion local producers, artisan makers and outstanding chefs. What began as a pioneering event has grown into a nationally celebrated showcase of the region’s rich food heritage, while staying true to its core mission: supporting independent producers from Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and beyond.

This year promises an exciting and diverse programme for food lovers of all ages. Expect inspiring cooking demonstrations from leading chefs, flame-fuelled flavour at the ever-popular Live Fire Stage, and thought-provoking talks from international chefs, producers and food experts. Visitors can explore curated food and drink trails, enjoy atmospheric late sessions within the castle grounds, and take part in hands-on workshops designed to deepen skills and knowledge.
