The Olway Inn

The Olway Inn dates back to the 17th Century and still retains its traditional pub charm with an attractive beamed bar and open fire. Offering ensuite accommodation, we pride ourselves on our homemade food, made on the premises using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Situated just 10 minutes walk from the small, picturesque town of Usk in Monmouthshire, South Wales we have everything you need, whether you are looking for a traditional Sunday Lunch, a relaxing evening out, short break or longer holiday, or a comfortable and convenient stop over for business reasons. You will find us in beautiful countryside, but conveniently located close to the A449 trunk road, giving our guests good access to the M4 and other major road networks.

The Olway Inn makes an ideal base for visiting and exploring South Wales and border areas on foot, by bike or car. Located in the beautiful Usk Valley, rich in glorious scenery, history and heritage, we are also within easy distance of the Wye Valley, Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park. The Olway Brook from which we get our name, is located next to the pub and is available to residents for fishing. The River Usk, world famous for trout and salmon fishing, is just a short walk away.
