Inigo Jones Slate Works was founded in 1861 primarily to produce school writing slates. Today the company produces architectural memorial craft products and garden products from natural welsh slate.
The company specialises in producing engraved slate nameplates and plaques which are all made to order.
By popular demand Inigo Jones now offers a self guided tour of the Works which gives an insight into the prefabrication process. Inigo Jones is now also a major tourist attraction that is open daily all year including weekends.
