The Limes Guest House is a red brick property built in 1901 and finished in 1911. Formerly known as Batsford Villas it was owned by the Rutland family.
In 1926 it was renamed ‘The Limes’ because of the lime trees in the garden.
Ours is a traditional guest house has been welcoming visitors since 1973, formerly run by my parents Valerie & Tony Keyte.
We were one of the first guesthouses in Stow-on-the-Wold, charging £2.50 per night!
Some of the guests from this time, are like old friends and come back to see us each year.
We welcome guests of all ages, children and pets, and can offer lots of advice on where to visit in the local area – please just ask!

Room 1 is a lovely, bright family room to sleep 4, fully en-suite room with shower, large room with an original marble fireplace.
The big bay windows are a lovely place to sit at the end of the day and overlook the front of garden.

This room also has its own private lounge adjoining room with original fireplace.

Double four-poster bedroom, full en-suite with shower, overlooking rear garden.
Lovely room for any special occasion.

A twin room, fully en-suite with shower on ground floor. This room overlooks the rear of the garden.
Great for those travelling with friends and those who have difficulty with access to stairs.
ROOM 5
A bright and cosy garden room with access on the ground floor, a double en-suite room, with it’s own access to the garden.
Great for guests with pets who need access to the garden.
ROOM 6
This room also has its own front door leading onto the garden.
A double en-suite with bathroom facilities downstairs with big walk-in shower, and stairs leading to a bedroom upstairs.
