Located in the charming village of Parkend, Edale House is a 4 Star Visit England accredited B&B and is an ideal venue for your Forest of Dean holiday. A well restored and stylishly comfortable Georgian style guest house, the property has six en-suite bedrooms, a large guest lounge with licensed bar, breakfast room, off-road parking and relaxing gardens (by arrangement). We provide an award-winning breakfast and a warm welcome with tea or coffee available for all our guests or arrival.

With the Forest of Dean on our doorstep, all major attractions are within easy reach. We are adjacent to the RSPB Nagshead nature reserve, close to a huge array of activities and sights and easily accessible to the many miles of walking and cycling paths within the Forest. In fact there is a path at the back of our garden so you don’t even need to get in the car! We also have secure cycle storage, a workshop and bike wash on site making this an ideal B&B for cyclists.

Within a short distance of Edale House is the mysterious Puzzlewood(featured in episodes of Merlin and Doctor Who), Clearwell Caves, Cannop Ponds, The Dean Heritage Centre (The Museum of the Forest), GoApe, the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, two golf courses and many other attractions plus we are also not far from the beautiful Wye Valley. There are many excellent pub/restaurants close by and Parkend is a historic village with a warm community and many facilities. Bike hire is available in the village, there are two pubs and there is a steam railway, shop and café.
