The Glenorleigh is a 16 Bedroom family run Guest Accommodation with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where we pride ourselves in offering a fine Guest House with good food and service.

The Glenorleigh is a Victorian Villa and has been extensively refurbished over the last few years to offer all the facilities required by today’s discerning guest whilst retaining the style and elegance of the original building.

The Glenorleigh has won many awards, previously being voted ‘the finest family Guest Accommodation in Great Britain’ by the AA and has been featured on the BBC TV Holiday Programme.

Relax and unwind around our beautiful heated Swimming Pool or enjoy a Drink or Snack on our South facing Sun Terrace.

The cool lounge offers a peaceful and comfortable haven. The elegant Dining Room provides a delightful setting in which to enjoy a 4 course Dinner or full English Breakfast, with a varied and interesting choice of Menu daily. By pre-arrangement we happily cater for guests requiring special diets and Vegetarian Dishes.

Our cosy Bar overlooking the Pool area (illuminated at Night) is the ideal setting for a relaxing evening, to meet old friends or make new ones. A wide selection of Wines, Draught Beers and Spirits are available. For the more energetic, our Games Room contains Pool Table, Darts and a Solarium for those wishing to top up their tan.

All of our rooms have been refurbished and are en-suite. All are also centrally heated and offer tea-making facilities, Colour TV and Child Listening.

The rooms are beautifully decorated whether they are a standard room or the superior ‘four poster’ and some rooms overlook the pool areas.

One of the Hotels’ finest features is the garden and heated Swimming Pool, which is totally secluded, and where you cannot fail to feel relaxed. With a mediterranean feel to the Sun Terrace and garden you will quickly echo the sentiments of many of our guests who have commented ‘you could be anywhere in the world’.

The Hotel is within easy reach of the Seafront, Theatre, Harbour and Shops. All are accessible on foot and the area is relatively flat.

The resort of Torquay offers all of the facilities expected of a modern seaside resort. Included amongst these, and just 5 minutes walk away is ‘The Riviera Centre’ containing a range of Bars, Pool, Wave Machine and constant ‘year round’ temperature. We offer Mini-Breaks and many special out-of-season offers.
