Set in the foothills of the Bannau Brycheiniog, Glansevin is a beautiful Georgian mansion remodelled during the Napoleonic war as a family home. Now over two centuries on, Glansevin offers you the opportunity to enjoy its splendid rooms and wonderful surroundings for your gatherings.

Plas Glansevin is an impressive mansion house located in the western foothills by the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales within five acres of beautiful grounds. With a setting by lawns and a secluded location, this Grade II-listed Georgian mansion is an elegant and unique place to stay and is ideal for large groups. Whether you are arranging a weekend getaway, a special celebration, a family gathering, a wedding (we are a licensed wedding venue) or a corporate event, this fine country house is an excellent venue. Making this country mansion even more special are the sauna and outdoor swimming pool.

Plas Glansevin  has 20 bedrooms and can sleep up to 42 guests, making it ideal for large groups of friends and family.  The bedrooms range from large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms to more modest accommodation. If you require additional accommodation it may be possible to rent the adjacent Carriage Rooms from our neighbours where there are a further 8 en-suite double rooms. Our large dining room can seat up to 80 guests and has a well equipped kitchen alongside. For larger numbers a marquee for up to 100 guests can be hired on the back lawn. Dogs are also welcome.
