The 2026 Festival will take place in the week leading up to the Summer Bank holiday, 24th – 30th August.
The beautiful spa town of Llandrindod Wells in Mid-Wales has been a popular destination for many years not least during the Victorian era. Whether you live locally or are just visiting we warmly invite you to attend our Victorian Festival. You are welcome to dress as a Victorian – as simply or elaborately as you choose – to participate in the events that will be listed in our brochure, or to sit back and enjoy the spectacle as the town is transported back to yesteryear.
Recent years have seen a welcome increase in visitors holidaying in the area, and Llandrindod Wells boasts a variety of accommodation to suit all tastes and pockets, including large, well-appointed hotels, licensed guest houses, bed and breakfast, farmhouse accommodation, caravanning and camping facilities.
Planning has already started for 2022 and we are glad to announce that Alison Neil will be back performing her new one woman play ‘Shining Bright’ the story of Marie Curie.
Gerald Dickens, the great, great grandson of the great man himself will also be back in town.
The Festival will last for eight days, commencing with a getting to know you Soiree on the Monday night and climaxing with the torchlight procession and firework display on Sunday night.
But that is not all – following this years success we will be having a ‘Community Day on the bank holiday Monday.
