ImageWhether for a quiet meal, a private function, a medieval evening or for a very special wedding day, this is a quite special venue. From walking through the orchard, ducking beneath the 8 foot deep entrance way to the bar area and medieval dining room, with real log fires, a dark oak beamed ceiling, candles and paned windows you know this is the real thing.

The main dining room has a maximum of 34 covers, with the separate 'Stargazers' room dining up to 14 in relative privacy. With the increasing popularity for private functions or parties and the cosy size, booking ahead is the only sure way of avoiding disappointment.
If you cannot get through on the telephone just leave a message or email and we will get straight back to you.

Where better to enjoy a relaxing meal than in the heart of theYorkshire Dales, especially in the fabulous Upper Wharfedale considered by many to be the most beautiful of Yorkshire's valleys.

Nestled adjacent to the impressive ruins of Barden Tower, a former fortified hunting lodge and the Barden Bunk Barn, this historic grade 1 listed restaurant has a fine reputation for excellent cuisine. An outside tea terrace, serving a selection of drinks, cakes and sandwiches is available when the weather allows.

Separate menus are available for lunch and evening, with a traditional lunch on a Sunday.
