Whatever your age or artistic ability, you can create something unique to treasure for ever at Doodlepots. Choose an item to paint from our wide range of plain ceramics - you’ll find there’s something for everyone from novelty items to useful mugs, plates, bowls, vases etc... Relax in our pleasant, bright and airy surroundings and enjoy our fairly-traded refreshments while we give you all the help and advice you need to get started.

Children's Parties

We are happy for you to hold your child’s birthday party here. Prices are £9.50, or £11.50 for a larger selection of ceramics from which to choose. This includes invitation, studio fee, pottery piece from a party selection, balloon, drink, a complimentary plate signed by all the guests and decorated by us, and a voucher for a return visit. Up to two accompanying adults get a free drink too! You can bring food and a cake if you like; we just ask that you take away any rubbish with you as we are short of storage space. Please book your one-and-a-half-hour party in advance.

Hen Parties and Group Bookings
Pottery-painting parties are not just for children! They are a great way to have fun with a group of friends, either during normal opening hours or in the evening. All we ask is that an evening booking is for a minimum of 8 people. Our usual delicious refreshments are always available, or you are welcome to bring a bottle of wine and some nibbles.

Gifts & Commissions

We can paint just about any design on just about any piece of ceramic bisque for just about anybody! So instead of all that footwork hunting round the shops for that extra special gift, come straight to us and tell us what you’d like.You can bring in a design for us to copy or have a chat with us about what you’d like. We are always up for a challenge - if you have a precious piece of pottery which has been broken, we will do our best to make a copy as a replacement.
