ImageWelcome to Box Tree Cottages, the best B&B in Ripon. Our aim is to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We are fortunate to have a beautiful building which has been recently refurbished, it is set in pleasant spacious gardens, is very quietly positioned, yet is within a few minutes walk of the centre.


Box Tree Cottages is Grade II listed and was built about 1800, originally as three cottages but  now combined into one building, set in about an acre of gardens. Until 2000 it had been used as student accommodation for the College of Ripon and  York and then we acquired it to refurbish as a guesthouse.

 

The property is pleasingly decorated to a co-ordinated scheme and furnished with antiques.  All bedrooms are spacious and well equipped.  They have an en-suite shower room, TV, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, hair dryer and radio/alarm.  Residents have their own Lounge and Dining Room and use of our private car park.
