Regular visitors to our nursery will notice that we have almost completed “The Last Bed” which, as the name suggests will mean the final section of the garden development as been accomplished. We joined the British Hosta & Hemerocallis Society (www.hostahem.org.uk) last year and have registered one of our own bred hemerocallis "Caroline" as "Caroline Taylor" with the American Hemerocallis Society (www.daylilies.org) Hopefully more registrations will follow later. Our range of oriental poppies has increased and last year we featured on UK TV Style Gardens pre Chelsea series "Nation's Favourite Blooms" in the Oriental Poppy programme. Our grasses range has also increased and the grasses bed is maturing nicely, this will be featured in a BBC Gardeners World programme sometime this season.....so they say! We are receiving more visits from garden clubs, U3A groups and Women's Institutes which are a source of great pleasure for us as we do enjoy the opportunity of talking "plants".We find it easier to spend longer chatting with the smaller more informal groups than is possible on our bigger open days.

Eastnor Castle This fairytale castle is as dramatic inside as it is outside. A vast, 60 foot high Hall leads to a series of State Rooms and Gothic Drawing Room designed by Pugin, with its original furniture and to the Italian Renaissance style library which boasts magnificent views across the lake. |
