ImageWorcester's own qualified 'Green Badge Guides' - we are ten local people who love our beautiful city, and are keen to share our local knowledge with you - the only guides for you!
We will take you on an entertaining stroll around the medieval streets and the riverside - recounting fascinating tales of famous and infamous characters, who helped create the city we know and love today.

Why not take one of our 'Regular Guided Walks' around Worcester?
Starting and ending at the Guildhall in the High Street, at 11.00am each weekday - our circular Guided Tour of the city centre takes approximately one and a half hours.

An entertaining stroll around the medieval streets, the riverside, off the 'Tourist Track' with amazing tales of Kings and Vikings, triumphs and tragedies, all part of the history of our beautiful city.

Worcester Waterways

The River Severn. The longest river in England, has for centuries played a major role in the life of Worcester and its citizens.
A highway for travellers and a trade route. Hear the gruesome tales of marauders and adventurers.
The building of the locks and canals, with its benefits to local industry.
Let Bob take you on a 'waterside walk', to explore some of these hidden sites and even murkier stories.

From Medieval Taverns to modern Wine Bars the 'pub' has always played a major part in the everyday lives of the population. Not quite a pub-crawl, but a little taste may be sampled - en route !

Civil War

Your guide, Sandy, dressed in 17th Century Royalist costume, will take you to Fort Royal Hill, where you can view the city, as King Charles II did - from the Cathedral tower. Visit the Royalist headquarters, and hear the dramatic tales of the last days of the bloody Civil War.
