Featuring the new discipline of "Free-X", where riders score points not only by winning the race but also by performing tricks along the way, this will be a real treat for spectators. A week later, on Saturday 23rd September, the first ever 0800Reverse Schools Challenge will take place at OTG. This event will give schools from across the UK the opportunity to compete against each other for the title of "0800Reverse Schools Challenge Champions 2006" and to win a trophy.
For experienced riders there is the competition level Boarder X track with 24 rollers, berms, water jumps & drops, and the Slopestyle course with 15 freestyle tabletops. For novice riders there is the grass-covered training slope with small jumps and padded bails for learning in safety. What makes Out To Grass special is how it provides for these two types of mountain boarders; experienced riders get technically challenging tracks, and beginners get a safe learning slope with qualified instructors. For beginners we offer lessons for individuals, small groups, or party bookings of eight or more.

How Stean Gorge How Stean is a spectacular limestone gorge, situated in an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, in the very heart of Nidderdale among lush green pastures. Known as 'Yorkshire's Little Switzerland' to the Victorians, the Gorge is crossed by narrow bridges between the rocky paths that lead down and across the rock face. The scenery is breathtaking, and the beck that runs through the Gorge can be anything from a gentle stream to a raging gushing torrent - depending on the rainfall and time of year. |
