ImageOut of the Hat is a marvellous visitor centre created in a 17th century building. The ground floor houses the town Tourist Information Centre with the two upper floors dedicated to modern interpretation, games, and information panels. Using portable media players, visitors can self-guide around the centre and enjoy the various hidden treasures within. Visitors are able to meet a former resident, find uncovered gems and learn about Tewkesbury's place in history.

The centre has won a prestigious RIBA award and is an ideal visit for families, groups, schools and history and architecture enthusiasts. A great range of events take place through the year from craft workshops to living history and open days.

Out of the Hat is fully accessible over the three floors, with lifts, induction loops, and it welcomes assistance dogs.  Friendly, helpful staff are on hand to make sure your visit is as enjoyable as possible.
