ImageSituated in the heart of the picturesque Georgian town of Bewdley this unique museum offers a memorable experience for everyone.

Described as having a ‘surprise around every corner’ you enter the Museum under the imposing Guildhall. This opens out into the attractive 18th Century Butchers Shambles, Town Lock ups, Brass Foundry and Gardens which provide a delightful setting for the fascinating displays that tell the history of Bewdley and the surrounding area.

Traditional village trades of clay pipe and rope making are brought to life through daily demonstrations and resident craftspeople welcome you into their open studios.

The tea shop and gardens provide a relaxing break form the bustle of the town and the adjoining Jubilee Gardens provide the perfect place to take a stroll and just unwind.

The museum is open daily from April to October and entry is free. A varied
programme of exhibitions and events provide interest throughout the whole
season.
