Established in 1751 along the banks of the River Severn The Royal Worcester Visitor Centre is a Great Day Out for everyone.  The Worcester Porcelain Museum houses the world’s largest collection of Worcester Porcelain. The ceramic collections, archives and records of factory production, from the primary resource for the study of Worcester porcelain and its history.

The Museum nestles amidst Victorian factory buildings in the heart of historic Worcester, within easy walking distance of the River Severn, the Cathedral, Royal Worcester and the City centre. Open 7 days a week and fully accessible, a visit to the Worcester Porcelain Museum offers something to people of all ages and interest.

Royal Worcester offers a wealth of attractions for visitors to enjoy:

Royal Worcester Visitor Experience - Guided Tour An introductory film provides a behind the scenes look at product development, design and manufacture. Using life size displays, knowledgeable tour guides describe and compare techniques of the past and present. You can visit the Company’s Senior Hand Painting department to see artists at work.

Worcester Porcelain Museum - An informative and entertaining audio tour featuring Henry Sandon and skilled craftsmen, tells the story of the factory’s history, it’s talented workforce and everyday life. Gallery displays from Oriental simplicity to Victorian extravaganza offer a glimpse of times past and show how dramtically design and function changed in the 20th century.

Paint a Plate Studio
Have some fun! Paint and decorate your own plate or choose from our range of pottery models and take it home as a keepsake or present. A great activity for all ages!

This year's features are a special exhibition "No Coward Soul" celebrating the life and work of Emily Brontë the author of Wuthering Heights and a redisplay of Branwell Brontë's paintings. The exhibition will be the first time all of the Society's Emily collection has been on display together.
