NEW! Together with our popular Hideaway Classroom, The Forestry Commission at Cannock Chase now has a brand new Environmental Education centre at Birches Valley. This exciting new building, funded by Cemex Ltd, consists of 2 large classrooms designed to use as much natural light as possible and is heated by wood pellet stoves and roofed in sedum. It is the first of its kind, built entirely with FSC timber and provides sustainable features throughout.
Birches Valley Cafe is also open offering a wide variety of food and drinks.
Goody bags can be ordered in advance for school groups.

Eastnor Castle This fairytale castle is as dramatic inside as it is outside. A vast, 60 foot high Hall leads to a series of State Rooms and Gothic Drawing Room designed by Pugin, with its original furniture and to the Italian Renaissance style library which boasts magnificent views across the lake. |
