The Burnt Gate is a traditional country pub and restaurant with a contemporary feel. Having being established for 12 years we have developed a strong bond with our customer base who know they can trust us to provide a quality experience. This could mean a lunch with friends or office colleagues, Sunday lunch with the family, a cosy dinner for two or a celebration party. If you just want a good pint and read the newspaper, that’s fine by us. Recent additions to our services are free wi-fi access and a great tapas menu. Our customers recommend us to their friends knowing they can do so with confidence. We buy our meat from a local butcher who sources the majority of his meat from Staffordshire. We have great relationships with our suppliers who, like us, will go the extra mile to please. We are conveniently located for the National Memorial Arboretum, the Maize Maze, Uttoxeter Racecourse and Tutbury Castle. As we are open all day Tuesday to Sunday we are the perfect stop for food and drink before or after your visit to any of these attractions. Our commitment to excellence has won us six awards over a period of five years with one judge writing that we are ‘a credit to the county’. 12 years on our commitment to excellence is stronger than ever, that’s why we say “there’s nowhere else quite like it!”
