Ian Snow started his business in 1977 selling from a trestle table on Machynlleth Market. He personally chose and imported his products from India, and gradually increased his range to currently over a thousand products from all over the world. Since those early days it has grown into two large shops and a wholesale business, with the main shop situated at the Old Post Office, Machynlleth. The sheer diversty of the products on sale is one of the reasons for the business success.

The Brontë Parsonage Museum and Brontë Society. The site has information about the lives and novels of the Brontë Family and the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
This year's features are a special exhibition "No Coward Soul" celebrating the life and work of Emily Brontë the author of Wuthering Heights and a redisplay of Branwell Brontë's paintings. The exhibition will be the first time all of the Society's Emily collection has been on display together. |
