Churncote Farm Shop

E-mail

ImageThis farm shop was opened in the summer of 2003 by David and Sue in a traditional 18-tie cowshed converted to retain as much of the original character as possible.  The aim is to provide home grown and farm fresh produce from the 161 hectare mixed livestock and arable farm.

Listening to the customer is an important part of running a successful business.  It is the freshness and quality that people appreciate, the produce tastes like their dads used to grow in the garden.  However they soon realised there was a demand for meat, with the lamb from the 400 ewe flock sold in freezer packs butchered to order.

We have expanded in the last year to include a butcher's counter and increase the range to beef and free range pigs.  Also to extend the home baking products to include fruit pies, shortbreads, quiches, lemon curd and other goodies.  You are welcome to visit the farm shop which is open seven days per week.

We invite you to visit us at Churncote Farm to see our ever expanding range of home grown and locally produced products including fruit, vegetables, cut flowers, free range eggs, home cured bacon, free range pork, gluten free sausages, lamb, butter, ice cream, organic flour, oats, muesli, cheese, together with Indian and Thai curry sauces. The farm shop is located in a traditional 18-tie cowshed converted to retain as much of the original character as possible.

Our aim is simple, to bring you the best quality ingredients, grown on the farm or from other local and small producers. As a supplier to local schools, we support the campaign for healthier food for children spearheaded by Jamie Oliver. We are committed to making locally grown food accessible to our customers, so they can make a choice.

Why not call in and see us, we are at Churncote on the A458 Welshpool Road just outside Shrewsbury, Shropshire, firmly in The Marches region of the West Midlands.
