Here at Country Treks we cater for pretty much everyone. From 1hr to full day rides, hacks, lessons, corporate groups, youth clubs, schools, families, hen/stag parties, disabled and special needs groups. We have a super 20x40 all weather area with a full course of show jumps. We have a delightful off road mini trek for our younger users through our 27 acre nature reserve and 100’s of bridleways, routes from our two sites onto common land, forestry, hills and lakes. We offer picnic and pub rides, we also specialise in birthday Parties and have our very own “pony hut” viewing area which doubles up as a site for picnic lunches in bad weather and welcome shelter. We also have toilets at both sites. We offer a superb location in the heart of the Shropshire countryside with access to the Clee hills and several splendid commons. We are small and friendly providing an excellent atmosphere - "Fantastic to have adult trek leaders with good conversation skills!" All our leaders are experienced and qualified BHS instructors. We are part of The Old Vicarage Adventure Centre.

How Stean Gorge How Stean is a spectacular limestone gorge, situated in an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, in the very heart of Nidderdale among lush green pastures. Known as 'Yorkshire's Little Switzerland' to the Victorians, the Gorge is crossed by narrow bridges between the rocky paths that lead down and across the rock face. The scenery is breathtaking, and the beck that runs through the Gorge can be anything from a gentle stream to a raging gushing torrent - depending on the rainfall and time of year. |
