Thresholds is situated on a northern outlier of the Long Mynd, in the heart of the Secret Hills of South Shropshire which is part of Shropshire Hills AONB. The wonderful scenery can be viewed from the many footpaths with Thresholds offering you a place to park your car and details of suitable walks.

The area is often associated with the writer Mary Webb and Thresholds Farmhouse features in several of Mary Webb's works.Thresholds is considered by many to be the centre of Mary Webb Country. Our displays include information on her poems and novels.

Thresholds is easily accessible by road, and is adjacent to the ancient drovers' roads across the Long Mynd which offer excellent walking, cycling or horse riding.
