David Austin Roses

David Austin Roses is the home of the very well loved English Roses that are a wonderful combination of all the charm and fragrance of the Old Roses with the wide colour range and free flowering nature of the modern roses.  The David Austin Roses catalogue contains 900 different varieties of roses - one of the largest collections in the world.  The nursery has an excellent reputation for supplying top quality plants and first class customer service.

Also at the nursery is a large and beautifully designed plant centre that sells a very wide range of plants - herbaceous plants, trees (both fruit and ornamental), shrubs, herbs, climbers and, of course, roses.  It has one of the largest collections of container roses on offer twelve months of the year.  Very friendly and knowledgeable staff are always at hand to give advice and help you make the best choice.

The plant centre shop and licensed tea room is housed in a very beautiful timber framed building built only three years ago but constructed in exactly the same way as in Elizabethan times.  Inside the exposed oak beams give a wonderful atmosphere.  The shop sells an extensive range of gardening tools, seeds, fertilisers, sprays and a particularly interesting range of books.  There is also some lovely gift items.  The tea room sells delicious home made meals and snacks served throughout the day.A visit this year is a must as you will certainly see some wonderful roses, smell some wonderful fragrances and find some interesting roses and other plants to take home with you.
