The Hot Air Balloon Festival

The 12th Llangollen Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place at the Royal International Pavilion from the 29th to 31st August 2008.

The 2008 festival promises to be a fun-filled and exciting weekend for all the family
For the first time the festival will be over 3 days. Friday will feature a opening party with a live outdoors music stage (artists to be confirmed soon)
Weather permitting we have mass balloon ascents planned for 6am & 6pm Saturday & Sunday and the famous night glow and fireworks display on Saturday night. 2008 will feature more entertaiment to keep the whole family enteratined all weekend including a jam-packed arena programme, scheduled and free children's interactive area packed with entertainment and workshops. Not forgetting of course the UK's only indoor model balloon festival, live music stage, fairground and amusements, refreshments and bar, craft fair, trade stands... and more
