Bradwell's Dairy Ice Cream

Our unique Dairy Ice Cream has been lovingly made in the little village of Bradwell in Derbyshire since the turn of the last Century.

Bradwell's original founder Grandma Hannah made her legendary recipes in her front parlour.  She had ice brought by train from Sheffield as she had no electricity.  It was sold locally into other areas of the Peak District.  Her kitchen is now the busy Ice Cream parlour, where traditional values remain as true as ever.

Hannah's Grandson Noel Bradwell carried on the business in the 1960's until it was sold in October 1992 to Lawrence Wosskow.

One of the secrets of our incredible success story must certainly be in the intensely butter rich recipe which gives every mouthful the unique and delicious, creamy texture and moreish quality.  It is now stocked in 16 flavours for the scooping trade (cornet and catering outlets) and 8 flavours for the 1 litre take home packs.

As time has moved on, our reputation as one of the finest purveyors of the creamiest, top quality Dairy Ice Cream has spread rapidly and demand for our product has increased dramatically.  This has resulted in outlets including restaurants, supermarket chains, delicatessens and nationwide retail centres including; Meadowhall, and Trafford stocking our renowned Dairy Ice Cream.

The Bradwell's team is dedicated in producing a traditional quality Ice Cream with continued good service.  After all we've had over 100 years of excellence in the making of delicious Ice Cream.
