ImageIn this most southerly part of rural Derbyshire, Beehive Farm Woodland Lakes offers visitors lots of fun ways to enjoy a very special corner of the New National Forest. We've over 66 acres of emerging young woodland to explore with thriving wildlife, fishing lakes and a family-friendly animal farm.

We're so easy to reach from Derby, Burton, Lichfield, Tamworth and Birmingham. Visit the Beehive soon and see for yourself why we're such a firm favourite with local families.

WOODLAND LAKES FISHING

With three well stocked lakes, you're assured a excellent day's fishing at Beehive Farm Woodland Lakes. The Horseshoe, Botany Bay and new Jubilee Lakes are all popular with local fisherman.

Fishing is by permit only and several club competitions and open matches take place during the year.

Three Fishing Lakes
Set in an attractive woodland landscape, the three secluded lakes provide an ideal venue for a quiet day spent alone or club competitions.

Our lakes are up to 12 feet in depth and stock includes carp up to 26 lbs, tench up to 6 lbs, bream up to 4 lbs and roach up to 2 lbs.

Botany Bay Lake has platforms suitable for disabled fishermen and easy access from the nearby free car parking. Toilet facilities are on site.

Caravan & Camping Site

ouring caravans, motorhomes and tents are accommodated in an attractively landscaped woodland site recognised by the Camping and Caravanning Club and (English Tourism Council) Heart of England Tourist Board 3 star ***.

Ideal Base
Whether you want to unwind and get away from it all at the weekend or make us your base for a family walking, fishing or cycling break, everything you need is right here.

We are situated on the edge of Rosliston village, many times winner of the East Midlands in Bloom Competition. Local pubs serving good food are within easy walking distance and the village shop and post office provide any essentials you need.

Children will enjoy the large, open grass play areas which are viewable from the caravan site pitches and abundant wildlife is to be found around the site. The well spaced pitches allow plenty of room for everyone to enjoy so it's always worth booking early for the busier weeks of the year.

Many of our visitors find the Beehive is ideally situated to enjoy visits to Alton Towers, Bass Beer Museum, Historic Lichfield, Drayton Manor Park, Snow Dome, Conkers, Twycross Zoo, Uttoxeter Race Course, Donington Race Circuit, events at nearby Catton Hall and Park and the NEC.
