St John Street Gallery - Ashbourne

Ashbourne's St. John Street Gallery, Derbyshire is spread over 4 floors of a spacious Victorian Building, once the town's Magistrate Court. The Gallery is now the region's premier venue for Contemporary Fine Arts & Crafts. We show Contemporary paintings of high quality and in an eclectic range of styles, as well as Crafts in various media, including glass, ceramics & Jewellery.

The Gallery Café has won numerous Great Taste Awards including 3 Golds for their Salad Dressing, Vegan Fruit Cake & Stilton & Walnut Paté, which is made with local Hartington Stilton. We make our own cakes on the premises, including Carrot, Apple & Cheese, and Bronze award winning Gluten Free   We support local suppliers as well as Fairtrade for imported ingredients. Our local produce includes eggs bacon & sausage from Derbyshire Dales Organics. Our  Café is known for “ the best coffee in town “ We regularly hold evening events including wine tastings & Jazz Suppers and the Gallery & Cafe are available for private events.
