JOHN RIVERS is the potter and a D.I.Y. one: he digs and refines his clay locally, has built his own kiln and is effectively self-taught.
PAT SMITH works in textiles, especially silk, and makes bags, collages. large wall pieces...
 
They invite visitors to watch or look round, chat about their crafts and to buy if you want.  


Most immediately is an OPEN DAY on Sunday July 20th, 11-5 p.m. All work is on show and John will demonstrate to reveal all the making processes.  Phone for details 01773 603181

This year's features are a special exhibition "No Coward Soul" celebrating the life and work of Emily Brontë the author of Wuthering Heights and a redisplay of Branwell Brontë's paintings. The exhibition will be the first time all of the Society's Emily collection has been on display together.
