ImageStanshope Hall offers comfortable and imaginative licensed Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

South facing and high on a plateau between Dovedale and the Manifold valley, Stanshope Hall is in the heart of the Peak District National Park in central England, on a small road between the villages of Ilam and Alstonefield. It is seven miles to the nearest town, Ashbourne.  The Hall is a listed building dating back to the 1600s, and is most unusually decorated. We have been singled out by many guides, and have appeared in the Which? Hotel Guide every year since 1994.

It is close to Dovedale and the Manifold Valley with lovely views high in the green hills of the Peak District National Park.

Our recipes are prepared using local produce and fruit and vegetables from our kitchen garden.

Ideal for walking, cycling, visiting Chatsworth House, Alton Towers, the market towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne and the Potteries. 45 minutes from Derby.
