You will find the Derwen Garden Centre nestling in the beautiful Montgomeryshire countryside on the outskirts of a small village called Guilsfield.

Derwen, an award winning centre, was opened in 1996, and is an offshoot of the long established Dingle Nurseries.

We offer a huge range of trees, shrubs, alpines and herbaceous plants, an inspiring collection of gifts and home décor, thirteen themed gardens to enjoy and a maze to wander in.

The fully licensed restaurant serves delicious home cooked meals, cakes and snacks. A farm shop means that you can take home delicious foods and treats.

Our home décor displays are growing in popularity with those who want to create a whole new look in one of their newly decorated rooms.
As an independent family business we have created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy, it’s a great place to spend an hour or a day in.

Licensed Cafe & Restaurant 

Spoil yourself in our licensed restaurant where we serve delicious homemade food to be enjoyed inside or out on the patio.

All our food is made here on the premises using a selection of local fresh and organic produce as well as carefully chosen good food, much of it coming from our Farm Shop.         

Our freshly made meals (prepared daily) snacks and yummy cakes entice our customers to return again and again. We have many customers who buy our wonderful cakes to take home – they’re addicted!

The relaxed and easy atmosphere makes us a favourite place to visit with friends when you want to treat them to a meal but still have time to enjoy their company, instead of running to and from the kitchen.

We have easy parking and for those with special needs our centre is spacious and wheelchair friendly.
